Composite score (0–100) aggregates every published grade I can find for that player this week — PFF, PFN Impact, ESPN, Bleacher Report and any other major grading service — normalized to a 0–100 scale (letter grades converted) and averaged into the one number on the badge. The orange tag shows the sources that fed it (e.g. PFF+B/R or PFF). An EST tag means no service published a number for that player yet, so it's my estimate from production, snap usage and baseline talent — and it firms up as more graded data comes in.
Depth order follows usage (starter first, then backups). Flip “Order” to By rating to re-rank each group by score — that’s where the Week 1 story shows up (see Gesicki over Sample at TE).
Coaches are graded off their own group. Each coach’s score is a usage-weighted average of that unit’s player composites this week, nudged for unit outcome (points, takeaways, clean kicks) — so the position coaches move with their room, and the coordinators move with their whole side of the ball.
